At Domaine Roche-Audran our aim is is to produce wines with a balance approaching perfection, deriving the maximum benefit from the complexity and character of these difficult but fabulous terroirs.Our work in biodynamics creates a natural balance in the vineyard, which is also naturally reflected in our wines. It gives expression to the richness of the soil and allows the full flavour of the fruit to develop.
All of the tasks in the vineyard, the harvesting, racking and bottling, follow cosmic rhythms in order to create wines that are as close to nature as possible.
White grapes are harvested by hand, sorted and cooled before pressing in order to       preserve the aromas and minerality of the terroir.
The natural balance and structure obtained through the use of biodynamics means that only few pigeages are required, and then they are done gently, and manually.
We follow the custom of vinifying and ageing each plot separately in order to ensure that their individual characters are expressed in the wines. Locally-present yeasts contribute the aromas of the terroir during alcoholic fermentation. Daily tasting takes place throughout the process to ensure production of wines that are both balanced and complex.


Pure and natural wines
No chemical additives are applied. Only sulphur is used – with moderation – except in our cuvée “Nature”, which has no sulphur added! The consistency that is found in our range of wines is the result of our commitment to biodynamic principles, and of our love and respect for our vineyard.All of our wines harmonise the flavour of the fruit, its richness, finesse and elegance.They are naturally long on the palate, both the younger, fruity wines as well as the grandes cuvées.
